These are absolutely fantastic for my needs and for basic painting projects! I was very happy with the price I paid, the quantity I received and the quality for the price. They are obviously not high end brushes, so if you’re thinking that’s what you’re getting you should look at a different product. The quality is lower than artist brushes you’d find at an art supply store, but I didn’t buy them because I was looking for quality brushes, I bought them because I needed something disposable to paint things (and was pleasantly surprised that $8 got me 100 of these).
I would buy these again and in fact, I plan on buying more of them soon! I just wish they offered the fan brushes in this quantity, even if I had to pay double what I paid for these… or even larger, wider ones… still worth the price!

As the name would suggest, natural bristle paint brushes are made from natural sources such as animal hair. They are designed for use with oil-based paints and due to their split ends that can achieve a non streak finish.
A synthetic bristle paint brush is made of nylon, polyester or a mix of both and is perfect for use with water-based paints rather than solvent-based paints. It's hard-wearing bristles maintain their shape for an excellent smooth finish. Traditionally not for oil or solvent based paints, new synthetic brushes are just as effective as natural bristle brushes, which have gone out of favour in recent years.
